Design Engineer (Data Center – Cisco Nexus / Arista)
The Design Engineer will play a key role in designing and supporting complex Data Center infrastructure solutions. This position requires hands-on experience in Cisco Nexus environments, strong BGP knowledge, and practical experience with Python or Ansible automation.
You’ll work collaboratively with global teams to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance Data Center environments that support mission-critical systems and large-scale network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable Data Center network solutions using Cisco Nexus and Arista platforms.
Develop and review technical documentation, including design specifications and topology diagrams.
Support ongoing infrastructure improvements and ensure adherence to network architecture best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network design with business and operational goals.
Troubleshoot complex routing issues, focusing on BGP and related protocols.
Use Python and/or Ansible to automate configuration and operational tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5–7 years of experience in Data Center or Network Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms.
Proven experience working with Arista switches and configurations.
Deep understanding of BGP and advanced routing concepts.
Experience with Python for scripting or automation; Ansible experience is a plus.
Cisco CCIE – Data Center certification or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Availability to work during U.S. business hours.
